Doromb oil: cares for the doromb, slows down corrosion.
One of the biggest enemies of the doromb - apart from incorrect use and storage - is corrosion. It starts oxidation of the steel in the invisible microcracks of the spring, which can lead to the first loosening of the doromb and then to the breakage of the spring. This process can be slowed down or even prevented by regular oiling of both nickel-plated (shiny) and black dorombs. The Doromb Oil can be used to remove very thin rust spots without scrubbing. All new dorombs leave our workshop after being treated with paraffin oil.
You can also request the doromb oil in a lightly scented version. The oil is also suitable for the care of woodwind instruments.
Ingredients. The scented version contains 4 drops of 100% natural essential oil per bottle.
Use: for regular use, wipe the doromb with an oily cotton cloth once a month, paying particular attention to the spring base.
If it gets in your eye: rinse gently with water for several minutes.
